    Tucson VX Snow Run

The next VX trip is in the plans. The date will be ??? depending on mother nature.
The trip will be up the back road to Mt. Lemmon in the snow! Without the snow the route is a 2-2.5 (scale of 5). With the snow....??? but should be a lot of fun.
The trip will be on a Sat or Sun.
I will try to give at least 1 weeks notice.
Anyone who might be interested PM me a message with your e-mail addy and I will email all interested when the snow falls. I will try to do this when there is plenty of snow. Wouldn't be any fun if there was only a foot or so!

28 degrees expected for the low in Tucson tonight...Mt Lemmon much colder! BUT no snow in the forcast...will keep everyone interested updated.

For all you cold people even with the low temp we woll still see mid 70's tomorrow for a high!

    Hey Billy,

This is Val. I'm up for another trip. This time I'll be more prepared. By the way, is this going to be just a day trip? Now when you say 2-2.5, do you really mean 3.5-4?

Nope...it IS a 2-2.5 (without snow)! It will be a 1 day trip. No camping gear needed!
When depends on mother nature. We are getting some cold weather just no white stuff falling from the sky. I'll be keeping my eyes on the local weather and try and give as much advance notice as possible.

Well, still no snow! Not looking good for the next week or so unless we get some freak storm blowing through!

On the good side, my winter training is a lot more comfy in this mid 70's temps. Those long runs, rides and morning swims are much easier to get out the door for! Only 3 months 'til Ironman Arizona...in case any of you want to join me (or at least want to get a bite to eat).
