    After market wheels

Apologies if this has already been done before, but I'd really appreciate some advice on VX wheel spec's.
I recently imported a VX from Japan (I live in the UK). I'd like to change the stock 16 inch wheels, however selection for the SUV market over here tends to be limited.

I've come across a set of used wheels, that were fitted to a Trooper (I think that's Rodeo in the US?)
They're after market with an offset of 13. The bloke selling said that they bolted straight on his Rodeo with no problems.

Does anyone know if VX and Rodeo wheels are compatible???

    Your help appreciated.....Darryl

(hehe) Let me quote this website's amazingly convenient and informative FAQ section regarding the tire and wheel size:
The 1999 VehiCROSS has 245/70R16 Bridgestone Duelers mounted on 16", 5 spoke aluminum alloy wheels.

The 2000, 2001's use 245/60R18 Bridgestone Duelers mounted on 18", 18x7JJ, 5 spoke chromed, aluminum alloy wheels.

    Offset = 38.0mm (1.50in)
    Stud pattern = 139.7mm (5.50in)

    Question

....Does that mean that Rodeo wheels will not fit the VX?

    Cheers,
    Darryl

Actaully, most of the Isuzu wheels are interchangeable within the same recent years.. You can take the measurements to your local shop and they should be able to help out.

And Randy,, I was kidding!! I'm going to put a link to the FAQ on the home page. That was my idea.. Should have done it a long time ago.. Silly me

    Question

Thanks Scott......someone informed me that the VX uses a larger centre bore then it's sibling's - can you verify this to be the case?

If so, would you happen to know the centre bore dimension?

    Thank,
    Darryl

After many hours of surfing and searching, I think I may have found the wheels I've been looking for.
    They're a clean 5 spoke design, no fuss - I'll post a pic soon.

They come in both 7x16's and 8.5x18's. The 16's have a zero or +13 off-set, whilst the 18's have zero or +30 off-set.

The dealer informs that both will happily bolt on a Trooper, Rodeo, Bighorn and Amigo, so I'm presuming stud pattern and centre bore will be ok.

In light that the factory wheels are 7inch, will the 8.5x18 cause a problem?

If this is the case I'm happy to stick with 16's........Can anyone advise on what combination of wheel and off-set I should go for? i.e 7x16 with zero or +13 off-set.

    Advice appreciated,
    Darryl
