illuminated window switches

I have notice that our VX swithces are not illuminated, is it possible to convert these.
Can one of our mod geniuses look into this

I'm toying with the idea of drilling a small hole and installing a LED in the switch socket or switch itself , like BMW's have in the door handles. I have done a limited search and have come up empty handed on a lit window switch. This plan is still in the brainstorming phase, but I'll post when I detirmine if it's feasible or not.
