    Wally...not a good VX comparison.

Unless the new wally power boats are WAY different than their sail boats...

...these are not the greatest offshore passagemakers...

...and built for "looks" ..not toughness.

Wally sail is the epitome of the St Tropez to Antibes "ego" boat.

A great place to store your thong clad mistress!
A fantastic "art" project to cruise the sheltered waters of the med.

Last time I checked ( and correct me if I'm wrong)...

...only one Wally sail boat had strayed outside the Med and actually done a Transatlantic Crossing.

Sorry to be harsh...but I've done many miles on boats.

Wally are without doubt the cutting edge of style...but lack substance IMO.

I've got something more "low budget"

skip the TOHATSU, mine has a 115 hp evinrude "ficht"engine with direct fuel injection.
    It's fab for waterskiing!

I have this. Even more low budget.

    4 l/ap (leg/arm power)

Thurston Howell can keep his overpriced yacht. Mine is more fun that you can shake a stick at.... and it gets through snow as well (downhill that is!)

Seen it. Cool looking boat, but definitely not the most bang-for-your-buck for a $25 million megayacht. There are many, many better options out there for people who want a nice yacht.

My guess is that this yacht is intended to appeal to nouveau-riche attention-seeking celebrity types who want something high-tech and different, though not necessarily better.

I guess it is for "NEW RUSSIANS" - mega wealthy type, who want to have that out of this world, exlusive, creme de la crop look, the ONE, the ONLY.....
