So we got 18 inches of snow here in Nebraska last week...
About half way through the snow storm I decided to try out the VX in some snow.. The long and short of it is I went down this country dirt road that sat significantly below the two adjoining corn fields and got highcentered.
Got stuck bad... When I got out I the snow was up to my waist and I could dig 8+ inches below the tires before I hit the road. Looking back up the road it became apparent that I had been a 4000lb sled with paddlewheels for over 100 yards, and the packed snow was indented perfectly to my underside.
Well I abondened her to wait the storm out, and it dumped another 6 inches of snow + 1' of drift on me. Needless to say I wasn't going anywhere soon. So i just waited 6 days and the snow melted and tonight I just drove (actually spun through mud) my way out.
For reference on how deep I was... The tires you can barely see in the above picture are 32's
