Found this on e-bay and believe that an option for the explore is an avl yakima load warrior -> I figured it sould also fit the vx. It has no brand name but looks like it might be a pretty good part. I'm thinking about buying one but want some feedback.. mostly on looks. I e-mailed the guy for more info like spare tire holder. thanks

I believe one of our members has 1 already, just cant remember who...a good search through the gallery should reveal him though I know I have seen the pic. It is nice looking and if its the same the one in the gallery it looks nice on the vx also.

Looks like a pretty good knock off of the Thule "Xpedition" which I've had on mine for almost a yr.
The only diff. I can see, is the side rails don't seem to have as much arc as the Thule...the price is def. right. Ck.my gallery 4 pics.

I think ZEUS has that rack, I realy like the way it looks, follows the lines really well.

I just found my info. on it. It came from agees.com, it was the larger of the two models (696) & cost $279. no tax, free shipping.

Ldub is there anyway to adjust how high up off the roof the thule version sits? looks pretty high in the pics
