CD Changer Error Message?

Do CDs still exist?? My computer doesn't even have a CD drive anymore. My, how times have changed...

Yes, they still exist. But I wanted to make sure I bought a unit with an iPod jack. I've been downloading way more music than buying CD's.

What did any of you folks do when they installed an aftermarket head unit in regards to the bottom portion of the CD changer (the part where the cd's actually go). If that gets removed is there some sort of part that you can put into after the cd player is removed or does it already look fine just by taking it out? Thanks. Also, if someone happens to have a pic it might be helpful. THANKS AGAIN!

There is a box/ compartment type thing that goes in there. Don't know if you can still buy them. Try search function for pics.

Not sure there is an OEM part number. Look at sites like Crutchfield or any stereo supply...it's typically called a dash pocket.

You can install a 2 din cup holder from a Ford Taurus. They can be found very easily and cheaply at your local yard. It looks good but not very usefull for anything bigger than a 12oz can of soda

Thanks for the tip, but another member has a dash pocket from a Rodeo for me. Also, I just ordered some SBC Brackets 5 minutes ago. My VX is getting alot of new things lately.
