    I believe thats his name.

Next time you lock yourself out, go in at the bottom of the window between the glass and the door, use a lil wood wedge so u have some working room. Then take a wire (little stronger than coat hanger, make a S shape with a hook on the end, then use it to hook the up/down door knob rod below the glass pull slightly toward the front of the vx and lift upward.

As a locksmith I am posting this to allow our members to get back into there vx without causing damage, this will NOT keep the alarm from sounding when the door opens.

that makes sense now, i hadnt had the door panel off before sunday, i know the layout of everything now, and see how the "s" would work, so there is some good news...i didnt say in other post, i have a slim jim, and was workin it, and somehow, i un clipped the "retainer clip" that holds the rod to the exterior door handle, and i didnt know it. , and i didnthave the door COMPLETLY closed, so i had an easy quarter inch to mess with. so after the slim jim didnt work, i messed with it, and managed to get it inside, and pull up on the lock, and i thought great........until i pulled up on the handle, and it didnt open, so thats when i thought "oh, the doors not completly closed, so naturally, the door wont open (it was hot, i was smearing sweat all over my fresh wax job, I was getting frustrated, and this was 45 minutes in the sun) so i shut the door to the "click", and the door still wouldnt open, thats when i got my heavy copper wire into the cocpit, and pushed on the window button to lower the window and get in.(another 30 minutes) all that said, i had to take the panel off to figure out why my exterior handle wasnt working, fixed that real easy, and i went ahead and did all the window fixes while i was in there. i did the spacer trick, siliconed trackes, widend tracks, and did the hole bore out.
good news is my drivers window works beautifuly, and i can actually use my passenger window, and i dont have to keep the lock button on!!!! i dont have to lay a finger on any glass!!
SEE, All things do work out for good!!!
