    '01 Proton Abandoned

    I just spoke with the service tech at Denver Isuzu (my baby is in getting A LOT of maintenance work, and some warranty work done) and he said that there is an abandoned '01 Proton there at the dealership. He said that the owner brought it in for service and then never picked it up and stopped making payments on it. When that happened it reverted back to Isuzu (I think they where the lein holder) so now it's just sitting there. He said that Isuzu will sell if for what the guy owed on it just to get if off of their hands.

    Todd (the service tech) doesn't know what it owed on it, but he'll find out by Monday. It's got 66,300 miles on it. I'll be there tomorrow and will take a look at it so I can report to anyone who might be interested.

    I believe this little puppy will once again find an owner...

    I see Denver Isuzu Suzuki is now selling it for just under 15k.

    I remember that one when I was looking at 5 VXs across the denver area. The manager was a complete jerk though because I wanted to go see it as well and he wouldn't let. It looked like a 'piece' though. Good to know it is on the market to be sold. I was quite sad seeing it sit back there in the corner all alone.

    Anyone has any idea on the condition of this VX? My ex GF is looking to get a new car and loves the proton VX. We would fly in and get it if we knew the condition...

    I still see it on their web site under used cars. I didn't see it on the lot driving by there yesterday though...

    If you want, I can stop by this weekend to see if it's still there and check things out....
