    VX drivetrain descended from?

Is the VX drivetrain more related to the:
    Rodeo/Amigo,
    Trooper,
    or other Isuzu model?

    Thanks!

VX platform is based on a 2-door Trooper.

    Arrow

The Trooper is where they all come from.

The Rodeo was the first derivative, followed by the Amigo which appeared in '90 after the SWB Trooper RS debuted in '89. The Amigo used the same chassis as the RS, and it returned in in the 2nd Gen Trooper body-style for '93 and '95. Our VX is basically a rally-tuned SWB Trooper chassis using experience Isuzu gained over years competing in the Dakar and several Pacific/Asian rallies.
