What has this thread turned into?...

Its so easy to say when you dont live in a concrete jungle, haha.

Havent been camping in years, but the VX was always my best companion on those trips. *sigh*

And I still look at that plaque as Jeep claiming victory over other trail vehicles.

It definitely could be. Anyone skilled at sculpting garage kits could easily modify the Tamiya kit with some Super Sculpy and an X-acto knife. But it is hard to say. Does it say anywhere what the scale of the model is? Clearly, whoever put this together has mad model-kit skillz.

    It is...

The miniature slickrock found in the Canyonlands region started this diorama. The Tamiya Isuzu Vehicross is customized into the VoX concept, Corian was used for the back deck. Has won numerous 1st place awards, two photos in model magazines.

It deserved the awards. I have seen a lot of model kits, and this one is painted and arranged VERY well. The dirt on the back of the VX, the suspension, everything. It would look nice on my bookshelf.

It would have been even cooler with a giant Gundam in the background looking at the VX enviously...
